A Brooklyn bred, corporate executive who travels extensively wanted a bedroom redesign that depicted an inviting, relaxed urban suite. This client is also an artist; therefore, the space was transformed to feel chic and exhilarating to represent the client’s creative side. The neutral color scheme was accented with pops of color in the accessories and artwork. Design highlights include a custom cognac leather bed and custom reading chair in a richly colored velvet. Given the bedroom faces the northeast, the room received a minimal amount of light. The solution was established by selecting a cool grey wall color. Mirrored closet doors were installed to make the space feel bigger.
