One Room Challenge: Week 7, Getting Closer to the Finish Line
Well folks, it's here, week 7! One final week prior to the big reveal. I still have a laundry list of things to do, as well as custom orders to pick up prior to the final week. This week highlights where I am as of today. I've finished painting the entire room and I'm extremely happy with the color selections made and how they came out.
It's always all about the details! The goal was to add a textural look with the paint color combinations. I chose Benjamin Moore colors Barely There in a Satin finish for the walls, Classic Gray in semi-gloss for the door frame and Sea Salt in semi-gloss for the molding. All of these colors complemented each other beautifully, and added a bit of contrast.

The couch has arrived which will be the piece that anchors the room with it's rich Rust color.

The biggest transformation of this room was installing the built-in cabinet along on the walls for file and sample storage. The custom marble top will be installed this weekend, and the hardware that I chose to compliment the custom marble top are Lucite and brushed brass handles that will look great against the white cabinets. You can catch up on my blog from week 4 to see how my contractor and I created and installed the custom unit.

The final step is to pick up custom orders, install lighting and complete furnishing the room.
